DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP CLASSES: AGES 7-12
STUDIO GROUP CLASSES are held inside our professional studio and throughout the Garnerville Arts & Industrial Center. Collaboratively, students will explore how to work behind and in front of the lens. Topics include all levels of camera manipulation, composition, perspective and lighting. Through hands-on project-based learning, we will discover how to create visual stories, play various roles and expand on individual artistic vision. Students study as Creatives and can remain Creatives or move into Pre-professional and Independent Study at levels 4 & 5.

FIELD TRIPS MAY BE A PART OF CURRICULUM (drop-off & pick-up will be at the selected location)
SPACES LIMITED, REGISTER EARLY! Approximately (6-8) students per class. Cost is per participant. All participants must register either by appointment or on-line prior to sessions. There will be a waiting list available, when applicable. *Instructor make up classes/closed studio: due to production, illness or weather related concerns.
GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
CREATIVES LEVEL I: BEGINNER
Study the basics of ISO/Shutter/Aperture, while focusing on the foundations of composition. Equally important, we explore the importance of the world that surrounds us, such as light, perspective and the emotion of each scenario. As a group, we explore the art of visual storytelling by learning how to create storyboards, culminating in personal photographic projects.
CREATIVES LEVEL II: ADVANCED BEGINNER
We continue to dive deeper into the foundations of photographic concepts, while discovering how technology and art collide!

Join our CAC STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB! Perfect for private students that would like to meet other like-minded photographers! Students ages 10 to adult - past, present & future (ages 10-17 by invitation only, please inquire).
