CAC STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB - AGES 10 TO ADULT

JOIN US!

Gather. Share. Create.

The CAC Studio Club is designed to carry your studio learning forward. It’s a place where class concepts continue beyond the lesson itself, unfolding through conversation, experimentation, and shared experience.

By slowing the pace and expanding on concepts, the club offers the time and space to explore photography more deeply, thoughtfully, and with greater freedom.

Rather than focusing on instruction alone, the Studio Club centers on creative hands-on assignments, connection, and growth. Students build confidence by applying what they’ve learned in supportive group settings, guided field trips, and relaxed studio gatherings. This is where skills begin to flow more naturally, ideas take on personal meaning, and photography becomes an ongoing journey shared with others.

As a member, you can expect:

  • A natural extension of studio classwork, with time to revisit and expand upon a variety concepts

  • Bi-monthly studio meetings with relaxed discussion, creative exploration, and refreshments

  • Guided field trips that encourage real-world practice and artistic experimentation

  • Access to borrowed equipment during field trips to support exploration and curiosity

  • Opportunities to connect with other students and gain fresh perspectives

  • Ongoing access to the Director throughout the year for guidance, feedback, and encouragement

  • The CAC Studio Club is a bridge between classes and a warm, educational studio community.

    NEW!!! Expanded Experiential Gatherings

Have you always wanted to take a guided photo walk, or visit a museum with fellow photographers? This is your opportunity to help set the direction, share your interests, and bring the community together in thoughtful, inspiring environments—both inside and beyond the studio walls!

  • Members enjoy additional hands-on experiences, with opportunities to take an active role in shaping the club’s programming. Gather OUTSIDE THE CAC STUDIO!

  • Each year, approximately five member-led days may be scheduled as field trips or informal gatherings, allowing the club to gather on an optional, monthly basis.

    CREATE.

    New concepts are discovered.

We take the concepts introduced in classes and give them room to breathe, evolve, and turn into meaningful work—while building a supportive community along the way.

Ideas mature into cohesive projects or bodies of work.

Students begin to identify their own artistic direction

This is where photographers move from “taking photos” to making creative and artistic choices.

  • CAC STUDIO CLUB EVENTS & ON-LOCATION WORKSHOPS

CAC STUDIO MEMBERS obtain first-come, first-serve invitations to attend unique events, workshops and special learning opportunities.

It’s a private, year-long experience for current students who want to go deeper—creatively and personally.

Scheduled field trips allow students to practice in real-world settings.

Equipment loans during field trips (reducing barriers to experimentation)

Enjoy private access that will take your photography to the next level, while unleashing your creativity!
