SUMMER INTENSIVES
One-Week Sessions, 3-days per week
ALL SESSIONS: 1:30-4:30PM
WEEK 1: 6/30, 7/2 & 7/3 Ages 8-12, M/W/TH
WEEK 2: 7/14, 7/16 & 7/18 Ages 13-17, M/W/F
WEEK 3: 7/28, 7/30 & 8/1 Ages 10-16, M/W/F
Summer intensives immerse new and continuing students in both the art and science of the digital camera. We focus on continually building upon foundational concepts such as: light, perspective, and composition. Our young artists examine multiple photographic techniques and explore the art of visual storytelling.
Collaboratively, students will examine how to work as a team, problem-solve, and play a variety of project roles. Whether your child enjoys being behind the camera, directing, lighting and/or storyboarding. Our goal is to foster creative expression and teach students how to communicate their individual thoughts and ideas, through the lens. Our sessions provide access to professional digital arts tools and technologies, while working both in the studio and throughout the grounds.
