Yoga Baby!

The Creative Arts Corner of Hudson Valley, Inc. introduces YogaGarten™ - a fun and creative atmosphere inspires participants to explore the world around them. Our environment is created through the imitation of animals and nature, while using creative expression, storytelling and music. YogaGarten’s™ fun-filled yoga poses and exercises promote:

  • Physical strength and flexibility
  • Concentration, focus and attention
  • Inner strength and body awareness
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Relaxation and self-control
  • well-being and respect for others
  • Love for one's self, both inside and out

 

Class Descriptions

YogaTime™ (For Women & Postnatal Mommies w/babies from 6 weeks until walking)

In a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, you will stretch, breathe, and build muscle tone. Enhance your energy, reduce fatigue and cherish this special time in your life. You can also enjoy doing yoga with your little one right beside you! This is a class focused on everyone’s unique physical needs. Mommies are encouraged to bond with their baby during class incorporating all the attention that an infant needs. Take the hour to nurture yourself in body and in spirit. Please bring a towel or blanket for your baby.

YogaTime™

Fun, inspirational classes encourage a child's natural thirst for knowledge. In this imaginative series, we combine simple yoga poses with engaging songs, drawing and stories that exercise social, sensory and motor skills while increasing flexibility. This playful class encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Students will strengthen their body as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques. Kids just love these energy-releasing classes!

 

YogaGarten™ Family

Take an afternoon or evening and relax with the family - so much fun for everyone! In this imaginative series, we combine simple yoga poses with engaging music, and stories that exercise social, sensory and motor skills while increasing flexibility. Participants will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation, breathing and visualization techniques. With today’s hectic schedule, it can be nice to bond while experiencing the physical and emotional benefits of yoga.
